Many of these figures are dual or even multi-pose, so sockets for separate arms and heads will need to be deepened with an appropriate drill (1.5mm) to take the cast spigots which allow the various heads and arms to be articulated or exchanged.

Prepare the white metal castings for painting by first washing in soapy water, then scrubbing lightly with an old toothbrush dipped in a household cleaner such as Cif or Vim. Assemble the figure using a 5 minute epoxy glue. It can then be primed with matt white enamel, before colouring with either acrylic or enamel paints.

Most figures will stand on their own feet, the small sheet bases that I favour are unnecessary. Only 'leaning poses' need an appropriate support, such as a cab side.
